Chocolate Milkshake – HoliFit Style!

6Sometimes… you just gotsta have a chocolate milk shake! Today was just one of those days for me. I tend to be quite the chocoholic {maybe you can relate} and so I have to stay creative in ways to get my cocoa fix without scarfing chocolate bars all day. I kid, I kid… kinda. So today I made a delicious chocolate “milk shake” that would put Miss Wendy to shame and it’s clean, packed with antioxidants, protein, potassium, and will help regulate your blood sugar levels with the help of a little cinnamon. Good and good for ya!

What’s Inside: 

  • 1 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla vegan protein {or protein of choice}
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 2tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 date {optional for added sweetness- stevia works too}
