Holiday HIIT Series

It’s the time of year where we are surrounded by yummy food, high stress and so much to do that there is little time to think about taking care of our health. Because of this, I have created the Holiday HIIT Series for you girls. I’m posting a new HIIT workout every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; announcing them on the Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram and updating this post to show the latest HIIT for you to enjoy. Keep coming back for more!    HIIT workouts are designed to burn as many calories as possible in a shorter period of time and to help you burn more throughout the day while you are out gift shopping, present wrapping, party planning, etc. They are timed intervals, so you can go at your own pace and do as many reps as you can. Push yourself hard, but know your limits an listen to your body. You need very minimal equipments (if any at all) and they can be done anywhere. This saves you the hassle of leaving your warm home…because baby, it’s cold outside!!   Start by warming up for 5  minutes with jogging in place, jumping jacks, high knees/butt kicks, heel raises, arm swings… anything to get your blood flowing through your body and your muscles warmed up. Follow it with a couple minutes of dynamic stretching like runners lunge, torso twists, leg swings, etc. Now you’re ready to HIIT!!   The Fire Log Workout


This workout will WARM up your body, BURN through calories, and get your metabolism FIRED up! 

Perform each exercise for 40 seconds and rest for 20 seconds. Repeat 1-2 times.
