Quinoa Rice and Shine Recipes

(Can be used for brown rice hot cereal and oatmeal too!) Sorry I’m just getting this up! So many of you have liked my recipes using this cereal and have asked me to post more, so here they are. If this doesn’t make you want to get out of bed inthe morning, I don’t know what will! 😉 For all recipes: 1/4 cup  Quinoa Rice and Shine 1 cup water or for creamier use unsweetened vanilla almond milk In a sauce pan, bring liquid to a boil. Add in grains and stir. Reduce to low heat, cover and simmer for 2-3min. stir occasionally. Remove from heat and add in other ingredients Cocoa-Coconut:

  • 1 Tbsp raw cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup coconut milk (instead of water or almond milk)
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened coconut shavings
  • 7 drops chocolate liquid stevia (or powdered stevia to taste)

Yum Berry:

  • 1 scoop SoTru Acai powder
  • 1 scoop SoTru OrganicReds
  • ¼ cup frozen blueberries heated over stove
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

PB&J:

  • 1 Tbsp. al natural peanut butter
  • 1 scoop SoTru OrganicReds or 4 chopped organic strawberries

Cinnamon Apple:

  • ¼ cup apple sauce
  • 1 tsp. ground flax seed
  • generous amount of cinnamon
  • Liquid vanilla stevia or powdered stevia to taste

Banana Bread:

  • ½ ripe banana, smashed
  • small handful walnuts, chopped
  • Generous cinnamon
  • Liquid vanilla stevia or powdered stevia to taste

Honey Butter:

  • 1 Tbsp. almond butter
  • 1tsp raw honey
  • Generous cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground flax seeds
